Point pertama sebelum pembahasan tipsnya, kita mulai dari apa definisi dari cv and resume.

1.      Definition of CV and Resume

The document detailed a person's resume by experience, qualifications, and accomplishments in a specific area.

 

Di point kedua kita akan menjelaskan tentang The Aims of CV and Resume.

2.      The Aims of CV and Resume

It makes it easier to evaluate competence and aptitude applicants from personal details such as education, work experience, skills, and interests that have a relevance to what the company really needs.

 

Okay selanjutnya kita akan membahas tentang Expressions in CV and Resume.

3.      Expressions in CV and Resume

             a.  CV in a sentence 

-          Applicants are asked to send in a CV and a covering letter.

-          Please send a full CV, quoting the appropriate reference.

-          Check the accuracy of everything in your CV.

-          Send them a copy of your CV.

-          Send your CV with a covering letter.

-          Send a full CV with your job application.

            b.  To avoid using empty words and phrases in your CV, the STAR technique can help you to tell  your story in a more compelling way. Commonly used in interviews, STAR stands for:

-          Situation: What was the situation or challenge you faced?

-          Task: What was the task you needed to accomplish?

-          Action: Which specific actions did you take to deal with the situation or challenge?

-          Result: What was the outcome you reached or the result you achieved?

Apa Itu Job Interview?

Oke guys kita akan membahas sedikit tentang job interview, dimulai dari pembahasan kita tentang “Apa Itu Job Interview” hingga contoh videonya. LET’S GO!!!

 

Pertama kita akan membahas tentang understanding.

      1. Understanding

    A job interview is a process in which a potential employee is evaluated by an employer for prospective employment in their company, organization or firm.

    Part of job interview

1)      Opening.

The opening section consists of interviewer introductions and candidates.

-          Greet and welcome.

-          Explain the purpose of the interview.

-          Explain the structure of the interview.

2)      Main questions.

At the core, the candidates were asked questions regarding the job as the company would like to know.

-          Duties and expectations.

-          Character traits.

-          Personal growth.

-          Salary and benefits.

3)      Closing.

An opportunity for the candidate to know things beyond the interview questions. The interviewer will explain the next phase after the interview.

 

Kalian sudah mengetahui beberapa hal tentang understanding, lanjut yang kedua yaitu pembahasan tentang question and answer.

      2. Question and Answer.

a)      Question

1.      Tell me about yourself.

2.      How did you hear about position?

3.      Why did you apply for this position?

4.      What do you know about this company?

5.      What are your biggest strengths?

b)      Answer

1.      “I started my career in Marketing after graduating with a business degree in 2013. I’ve spent my entire career at Microsoft, receiving two promotions and three awards for outstanding performance.”

2.      “I’ve known about [Made Up Technologies] for a long time - I’m a big fan of your products. I even own one of your latest phone models!”

3.      “I’ve always wanted to put my engineering degree to a good cause - and the position as a Sustainability Coordinator at [Company XYZ] is just the right thing.”

4.      “Well, I know that you’re one of the biggest investment banks in [town / state / country]. Company X pops up on news pretty often - I’ve read that you’ve invested in some of the hottest tech IPOs, and have several up-and-coming biotech companies in your portfolio.”

5.      “My biggest strength is that I’m very efficient at working under pressure. No matter the crisis or stress, I can make the right decisions on-the-spot.”

      4. Etiquette

a.       Do sit up straight and look genuinely interested.

b.      Do keep good eye contact.

c.       Don't slouch.

d.      Don't lean forward, towards the interviewer.

e.       Don't point.

f.        Don't cross your arms.

g.      Don't stare for too long.

h.      Don't fidget.

Application Letter Itu Sangat Mudah

Menulis Application Letter itu sangat mudah lho, nah berikut ini adalah cara-cara menulis Application Letter agar kamu mudah membuat sekaligus memahaminya, enjoy!

 

Okay, kita awali dengan memahami dan mengetahui dulu apa arti dari function itu.

1.    Function

Function is a letter made by someone to apply for a job with the advantages and potential to enter the company

Selanjutnya masuk ke part of the letter, minimal kita harus tau 8 poin utamanya.

2.    Part of the Letter

Information to include in your cover letter.

1) Contact Person's Name, Title, Employer, and Address

2) Date.

3) E-Mail.

4) Salutation.

5) Opening Paragraph.

6) Middle Paragraph.

7) Second Middle Paragraph.

8) Contact Information and Closing.

Masuk ke poin yang ketiga, dimana kita harus mengetahui apa itu expression or sentences used in the letter agar dapat membuat application letter.

3. Expression or sentences used in the letter

      1)      Introduction.

              “For the last 5 years, I have been working in the position of….”

      2)    Reason For Writing.

              “I am writing to apply for the position of….”

      3)    Education And Previous Experience.

              “My education includes a degree from XY university.”

      4)   What Makes You Ideal for This Position?

           “I believe I am the best choice for this position as I have a lot of experience in my previous role.”

      5)    Closing Statement.

            “I appreciate your consideration for this application and look forward to hearing from you.”

Pengalamanku Selama Prakerin

 

    Pengalamanku dimana kita melakukan pengukuran diameter besi di tempat magang Taman Budaya Raden Saleh. Disini kita diajarkan banyak hal tentang pengukuran besi tersebut, pertama membuka skrup jangka sorong agar jangka sorong tersebut lebih longgar bisa dipakai. Lalu kita sesuaikan jangka sorong dengan lebar besinya, kemudian rapatkan dan kencangkalah skrup itu. Setelah itu kita akan mendapatkan hasil berapa diameter besi tersebut dengan memperhatikan angka centimeter dan milimeter yang terdapat di Jangka sorong.

    Cara mengukur jangka sorong itu dengan memperhatikan garis yang sejajar antara ukuran centimeter dengan milimeternya. Semisalnya ukuran centimeter tepat berada di 3 cm, dengan milimeter diangka 2 berarti milimeter di ubah menjadi centimeter, maka:

3 cm + 0.2 cm= 3,2 cm 

Berarti diameter besi tersebut 3,2 cm.

  Nah itu dia pengalamanku sekaligus cara mengukur diameter besi, mudah bukan? Ini pernah dipelajari waktu SMP kalau kalian ingat.
